Oral Hygiene


Keeping up with your dental hygiene will give you a leg up at your biannual visits, not to mention providing you with a whiter, healthier smile and keeping costly procedures at bay.

To ensure your mouth is healthy: 

  • Brush thoroughly at least twice a day
  • Floss daily 
  • Use fluoride-based toothpaste or dental products
  • Maintain all necessary dental appointments throughout the year

When it comes to our patients’ oral health care, we prefer to form a partnership, one where the patient practices good, daily hygiene, so that we can focus on preventative measures at our visits to catch dental problems before they develop. One of the easiest ways to keep your mouth healthy is by not smoking. Avoiding sugary and/or acidic foods and drinks, such as soda, is also crucial to good oral hygiene. If you experience bleeding gums while brushing or persistent bad breath, let us know at your visit so we can help you with a resolution!
